Join us on Sunday 20th September at 10.30am for our annual Memory Walk.
Our Memory Walk is for those who have lost people who had dementia, those with family or friends currently living with the condition or people who simply want to take on a challenge to help raise awareness and vital funds. Pets are very welcome too!
The walk will start at La Fregate and end just before St Brelade's Parish Hall. This flat 5k walk is perfect for all ages and abilities. The route is push chair and wheelchair friendly.
Our Memory Walk gives people the opportunity to unite together to raise awareness and funds to help support the 1,600 islanders with dementia, their carers, and their family.
Take on your own Memory Walk!
If you're not available to join our Memory Walk, you can still get involved. The ‘Own Route’ ticket type, allows you to do your own Memory Walk at a time and place that suits you best, whilst still helping to raise money and awareness. Why not gather some of your friends, family or colleagues to join you!
If you are joining the official Dementia Jersey Memory Walk on 20th September 2026 - please arrive at La Fregate at 10:30am ready to begin the walk at 10:45am. We'll have our purple gazebo up so you won't be able to miss us!
The walk finishes just before St. Brelade’s Parish Hall (by the little gem cafe)
If you have chosen to do your own route, please do share some photos with us from your walk, we'd love to see them. Please email them to nadine@dementia.je
There is no fundraising target for this event, however, we are very grateful for the funds raised as part of this walk, so any donations and sponsorship you can get would be greatly appreciated. We are also happy to take cash donations, cheque or receive funds by BACs transfer. Please reference 'Memory Walk' when making your donation. Find out more about how to donate here
All funds raised will help us support local people living with dementia.
From all of the team at Dementia Jersey, thank you so much for your support.
