Inspired by local runners, we have designed three lovely woodland trails in the beautiful Wytham Woods. Back after a year's break in 2025, the event offers the familiar 1 mile fun run for younger runners (4+) and 5k and 10k options for those who are a little older who want to enjoy all that Wytham Woods have to offer. We hope you will enjoy the experience and Rise to the Challenge!

The woods provide shade for 90% of the course, so even on warm days it significantly cools the temperature. Water is provided on 10K and we encourage carrying water if you think you need more. Our friendly marshals are there to make sure everyone is ok and give you support, they are backed up by first aiders on 4x4s on the course and at the finish. Trail shoes are better, because the course has bumps and tree roots in places.
