Mountain Biking Jersey - Multi Stage Enduro

You asked for more gravity, and we listened! This year we’re bringing Enduro racing to Jersey in a multistage format at Greve De Lecq Woods. Expect multiple timed downhill stages and plenty of laughs. There are no series points just great racing for youth and seniors alike. Support it if you want more of this type of event and help us grow gravity racing on the island.

Mountain Biking Jersey & Jersey Cycling provide Toilet Facilities, Medical Cover & a Race Guide for you at all events. 

NOTICE: We will be trialling the use of an Ebike class, OPEN & WOMEN. If riders abuse the trial of Ebike use through derestricted Ebikes, the class will not return in future events. We really want this to work so please help us in ensuring it can! 

Riders seen / suspected to be riding a derestricted Ebike will be disqualified without refund. The organisers reserve the right to remove any riders from the event as deemed necessary, please don’t make us.

Definitions: 

Timing Chip – A device placed on your fork to track your time – MUST BE RETURNED. 

Youth Approved Rider - A rider that has been signed off by our off-road coach to participate in the full hill event – only available to U14+ Riders. (If you wish to be signed off as a youth approved rider please attend the Saturday 19th to be signed off for full hill.) 

Open – Any gender may enter this class 

Women - Only Women may enter this class  

Format for Multi Stage– Multi Stages, set stages and start times, fastest collective runs wins in each category.

Saturday 19th September – Youth Cycling (U14 and below) 

• Venue: Greve De Lecq MTB Course - ///dogfish.composites.bathwater

• Format: Multiple timed single stage (fastest time collectively wins per category) 

• Course Setup: 10:30

• Sign on: 12:00 -12:30

• Practice: 12:00 - 13:00

• Racing: 13:00 – 15:00 

• Podium Presentation:13:30

• Eligibility: 6 Years Old to 14 Years Old 

• Saturday Categories: U8, U10, U12, U14 (All Open & Girls)

• Format: Multi timed stages (fastest time collectively wins per category) 

• Sign on: 08:30 - 09:00

• Practice: 09:00 - 10:00

• Racing: 10:00 – 13:00 

• Course Pack Up 13:00 - 14:00

• Podium Presentation 14:00

• Eligibility: Seniors (17+) plus 14 and up by approval 

• Sunday Categories: Youth Approved U14+, Youth 14 - 16 Junior 17-18, Senior 19 – 39, Veteran 40 (40 – 49), Veteran 50 (50 – 59), Veteran 60 (60+), Ebike Senior (19+). (All Open & Women)

Important Information 

• Gloves & Helmets are compulsory (full-face recommended for Enduro) 

• Eyewear, and pads strongly recommended 

• Bikes must be well-maintained and suitable for technical off-road terrain 

• Online entry ONLY - closes at Thursday 17th at 22:00. 

Post-Race Social 

After racing, riders usually head to local pubs or cafés near Greve De Lecq for food, drinks everyone is welcome!
