Somer AC are pleased to announce the return of our Little Tuckers 3K .
Starting from the legendary Tuckers Grave Inn and Campsite, Knoll Lane, Faulkland, Bath, Somerset, BA3 5XF, our Little Tuckers runners will follow a lovely course that again features a blend of tarmac and trail.
Mirroring part of our Mother Tuckers course, our younger athletes will head out along a heavily marshalled lane to Hassage before heading across trails to Crocodile Creek, heading back along the brook and back to Tuckers Grave for a well earned medal and rest.
We aim to make this a fun filled occasion. Camping can be booked directly with Tuckers Grave Campsite if you want to make a weekend of it. You'll receive a lovely bespoke medal to reward your efforts and remind you of the fab countryside. We're also supporting The Bowel Movement as well as Blood Cancer.UK What makes this special...
For your own safety, and as the event does involve some quiet country roads that will still be open for local resident access, headphones (incl. bone conducting designs) are not permitted to be worn. Junior runners (i.e. 8 years minimum, and under 18 years of age on race day) must have the consent of their Parent/Legal Guardian before entering, making payment and taking part. Sorry but no dogs - landowner permissions preclude dogs on the course and in the race. This event is fully accredited by Associated of Running Clubs (ARC) under permit.
With the exception of guide runners for visually impaired athletes, runners are not to be accompanied by adults. Our responsible marshals are located along the course to help our young athletes; we want mums, dads and grandparents to cheer the runners at the start and at the finish... they will appreciate it. We have on-course photography with images shared for promotional purposes on Somer AC social media channels; if you do not consent for images to be used, please contact somermttr24@outlook.com.
There will be awards for the first male and female athletes in the following categories:
